KAYA’s latest addition to the Frame Grabber lineup is a single frame grabber for 8 channels of CXP-12 to support even more cameras!
KAYA Instruments is excited to announce the Komodo II – 8 Channel Frame Grabber. This new frame grabber is capable of 8 channels of CXP up to 12.5 Gbps per channel. The latest version of the Komodo is capable of handling up to 8 individual cameras, one camera of 8 channels or any mix in between. Two frame grabbers can be run together on the same PC to have up to 16 Channels of 12.5 Gbps from a single camera. This latest frame grabber allows up to 110 Gigabits/second through the PCIe Gen 3 x16 and is fully compliant with CXP v2.0 standard.
KAYA’s frame cameras are low-cost, high-quality, and low power consumption with a full SDK for Windows and Linux environment. The software included is based upon the API included with the frame grabber to demonstrate all of the frame grabber’s capabilities. KAYA Frame Grabbers are compatible with NVidia GPUs as KAYA is referenced as a Partner on NVidia’s website.
The Komodo and Predator frame grabbers all share the same API, SDK and drivers for 3rd party software. Any application developed on one frame grabber is easily utilized with a different frame grabber from the KAYA frame grabber line.
