The position incorporates customer service, sales, and CRM skills. KAYA is a manufacturer of machine vision, scientific, and defense imaging equipment. This is a business development role for independently motivated, highly technical, and skilled in computer science, cameras, or similar fields. The position would include following up on leads, researching companies and pursuing the right engineers, adding information and tasks to CRM, and coordinating with internal production staff and engineers to manage deliveries and support. This is an entry-level position in a highly technical field. This position would work with the Director of Business Development, Engineering and CEO. The compensation is a combination of base pay and commission. The starting salary depends on experience. After becoming familiar with the products and sales role, the expected compensation will be >100k per year.
Duties
· Working with Sales Staff creating Estimates and Sales Orders
· Invoicing
· Follow-up on leads
· CRM sales tools entries
· Junior Sales position until Sales Role learned
· This is an on-site/remote work role, but a small amount of travel might be required once product knowledge is acquired and the role transitions to full time sales.
Education / Skills
· BSc. , or higher degree
· Some knowledge of cameras and photography
· Ability to identify and call on decision-makers in customer organizations
· Entrepreneurial and independently motivated
· Persistent, able to overcome obstacles and answer customer objections
