Range Extenders

KAYA Instruments’ CoaXPress over Coax Range Extender is the industry’s first CoaXPress range extender. The extender increases standard CoaXPress v2.1 transmission distance while maintaining a low jitter, high resolution, and quality stream. The extender enables video, control signals, and power over CoaXPress (PoCXP) transmission to control the data stream and camera handle fully. The Range Extender can provide a downlink of up to 12.5 Gbps and uplink at 40.8 Mbps

KAYA Instruments’ CoaXPress v2.1 Range Extender over Fiber is the industry’s first CoaXPress v2.1 range extender which provides a high-resolution stream interface for distances up to 80km in single-mode and up to 300m in multi-mode. Optic fiber is electrically isolated, hence it does not radiate nor is it susceptible to electromagnetic interference, also eliminates the problems associated with grounding.

KAYA Instruments’ Camera Link Range Extender over Fiber resolves the distance limitation of the Camera Link interface by connecting the camera to the frame grabber over a single fiber cable. This solution provides a high-resolution stream interface for distances up to 10km in single-mode and up to 300m in multi mode. The adapter is capable of supplying power to the camera over PoCL.

FXCL II system is the industry's most advanced Camera Link image acquisition system without range limitations. The system uses fiber optic cables to provide a high-resolution image acquisition interface for distances up to 80km in single-mode and up to 300m in multi-mode, while each Camera Link Full interface is translated to a single fiber cable.
