KY-FXCL-II

The FXCL II system is the most advanced Camera Link image acquisition solution without range limitations. It utilizes fiber optic cables to deliver high-resolution image acquisition over distances of up to 80 km in single-mode and 300 m in multi-mode, with each Camera Link Full interface mapped to a single fiber cable. It can receive video streams from Camera Link Full cameras and supports standard bitrates up to 85 MHz. This system is ideal for industrial, defense, and aerospace Machine Vision applications. It comprises a Komodo II Fiber frame grabber and a Camera Link to fiber device, with the remote unit converting the Camera Link interface to fiber. High-performance DMA transmits video streams to computer memory via a PCIe interface with minimal latency. Additionally, it provides GPIO for machine control signals, such as triggers and exposure control, independently of video stream acquisition.

The Frame Grabber utilizes PCIe Gen3 x8 links for communication with the Host PC for video uploading and configuration.
